The Quiver Trees (Aloe dichotoma), also known as Kokerboom, are iconic in the landscapes of Namibia. At sunset they turn a variety of fiery reds and oranges as the last sunlight clips them across the dry desert landscape of Namibia. They make amazing subjects for landscape photography and I have never tired spending time in their presence, there’s a very special energy that a Quiver Tree possesses.
